Haley’s Choice was founded in memory of our inspiration, Haley Reber, who passed away unexpectedly from complications caused by an undiagnosed case of a rare disease, known as Moyamoya. Without a living will or other advance directives in place, she wasn’t given the opportunity to express her exact wishes regarding her healthcare and the transition to end-of-life care

Her passing was a painful reminder of how essential it is to make our wishes known before the unexpected happens

Haley dedicated her life to helping others, driven by a genuine commitment to ensuring that no one felt alone or unheard in their healthcare journey. She was well on her way to achieving that goal by becoming a certified pharmacy technician in less than a year while working full-time to prepare for a return to nursing school

We’re here to provide clear, accessible resources on living wills & advance directives, organ donation and to learn more about Moyamoya disease, to ensure that every person’s voice is heard when it matters most
